When there is a smile shared

When our particular Santa Claus shares his big smile, something happens around .

 Surprisingly, students change faces and clothes

PREE-1º ESO: An exciting course

In IES Julio Caro Baroja BHI we have very different  projects. One of them  is PREE, a especial course to support those students who need it to catch up with their studies/mates.

They have normal clasess, true, but they also have a lot of projects in the English classes to support Speaking.

 In the current  project we first take pictures of the situation, then we make a poster, later we create the text and finally the students present their project orally and record it.

Theatre in English

The English Department has been encouraging students to attend  

drama performances in English during the last years. Last November,
students of 4º ESO went to Bilbao to see "Sherlock Holmes".

After the performance, the students had the opportunity to talk to the actors to solve their doubts.

 Next Wednesday, December 12th, students of  1º Bachillerato will experiment theatre alive attending the play "Dracula".  1º and 2º ESO MET students will have their chance in January 17th with the play "Lucky Day".


 As usual, Parents' Association (AMPA) has collaborated with the expenses.

Drama Workshop Performance.

As part of the Trilingualism Project, students of 1º ESO are producing their first play which will be presented on December 20th, only for families and friends. After a long term working in the  Drama Workshop they will say bye to 2012 by singing "We wish you a Merry Christmas" after the performance.
It will be the second language first experience on the stage for many of them. But they have been working hard; so, sure they will be rewarded with a big clap from the audience.

But what's the title of the play?
